Earth observation satellite imaging
Exclusive distribution rights in Japan to the world’s major commercial satellite image data
We supply satellite image data photographed and collected by earth observation satellites. In addition to providing the latest satellite image data, we respond to clients’ needs ranging from disaster recovery to fluctuations in forest cover, among others, by providing timely information on a variety of secular changes in every possible region of the earth’s surface.
Analysis and processing of image data into imaging information
We analyze and process all types of image data received from earth observation satellites to provide imaging information that satisfies our clients’ needs. Satellite imaging information is processed for use in a variety of fields, including national security, disaster prevention, environmental protection, agriculture, and the fishing industry.
Provision of products and services related to satellite imaging
Our aim is to provide "one-stop shopping" for the products that best meet our clients’ needs, encompassing the whole range of processes from collection of data from earth observation satellites, through data analysis and processing of image information.
- Sales of ground station systems: construction and sales of a system that receives data from earth observation satellites and processes those data to images
- Sales of related products: analytical software, spectroradiometers, etc.
- Satellite image interpretation training service: providing training in analysis, processing, and information extraction from satellite image data
Collaboration with the world’s leading companies and universities
We have established a joint venture with the world’s largest satellite image data distribution company, SPOT IMAGE S.A. (France), and strengthened our alliance with Italy’s Milan Technical University. We are working on a project with the Carnegie Foundation’s Asner Research institute (U.S.), one of the world’s leading research institutions, as part of our commitment to bring cutting-edge technology to bear on increasing field applications for satellite images.
